Words like Semite and anti-Semite are inadequate. I interpret them as glossy abbreviations of fear promoted by those propagating ignorant, self-serving lies. Ancient lies that turned scapegoating into genocide. Catchphrases and newscasts are not enough to turn tsunamis of historical bias into genuine affection for the good we all offer to life. The curriculum of education needs to go global. The standard needs to be interpersonal communication. The inhabitants of Earth need their tolerance homogenized. I’m sickened when I contemplate evolution in the hands of people like Martin Luther, Adolph Hitler, and Donald Trump. It's too easy to label them anti-semitic. Instead, they are evil opportunists who prey on ignorant bystanders.
