Very interesting and thought provoking. I want to put it in context that consciousness is a vital ingredient of all that exists. Certainly that includes the universe. I like how you reference turning inward, as indeed, our lives are a construct of minds hosted by biology. Time, space, God, etc. as things that exist outside our consciousness is impossible. We own it.
