I agree, Nour. Those who write professionally are few, and they are guests in the vast world of readers. And Medium is an oddity in that ecosystem. I see it as a training ground or island off the mainland. It's where I reside, and therefore don't even consider myself a ‘writer.’ My only constructive criticism to someone on this platform who thinks they're great would be to leave the minors and step into the bigs.
