These are significant observations. I'm intrigued by what is causing the trend. Is it a paradigm? A shift due to transitioning from our industrial revolution? The workplace is changing radically. Perhaps young adults need more time to prepare or find their niches. Getting a handle on productive leisure may be their constructive activity while they get a handle on career aspirations per opportunities that are highly in flux. Nevertheless, they need to be responsive to whatever the workplace pays them to achieve.
