The several times I joined that fray I was tempted by its illusion of ease in meeting someone who would be attracted to me. Somehow the virtual interface would be more forthcoming then live happenstance. By the time I answered the questions and publicly posted my picture profile I felt like I waded into a swamp of apprehension. I found I have no virtual sense that replaces my live human interface. Some will say the app screening process is worthwhile. I’ve come to think it’s a waste of energy.
