The environment is going to do its thing regardless of what humans do. No amount of ingenuity is going to sustain human greed and ego that is opposed to nature. The gall, thinking it can be fixed as if by remote control. One day, we may learn that global cooperation with nature will necessitate collaboration among the entire populace. It's either that or extinction.
