Thank you for your honest, imaginative, and encouraging critique. If the spectrum of creativity were depicted as a curve, I think we would see the predictable bulging bell shape in the middle. Most people think it's the sweet spot and they strive to get in there. The truth is it's average and it can be boring as hell.
