make it feel like we’re walking on the water

We’re just a stone’s throw from the river
we know to go down there.
To catch a moment, to make it feel
like we’re walking on the water.
Beneath our feet, ripples play
like conscious yearnings that never fade.
Then, now, forever in our pastel parade
I need to hear her say

If you take me back there
I will never leave you lonely
while you’re the only one who knows me
and will take me back.

Come then, let’s create another abiding moment
and remake the magic
that conjures us inside of you and me.

If you take me back there
I will never leave you lonely
while you’re the only one who knows me
and will take me back.

We’re just a stone’s throw from the river
we know to go down there…

Now dissecting thoughts and emotions, pinning words, then commentary to the facets, curating and sharing them as legends of my being. Then they’re on their own.
