Surviving means learning more about human nature. The things that trigger us eventually become solved puzzles that are accessed with ease when the trigger arises. Those who do not experience trauma as children and adolescents are spared from having to process extreme painful thoughts but I think it's reasonable to conclude they can be at a disadvantage as tough times come up when they are adults. Survivors who step up to help are true leaders.
