Regina, fantastic work telling the many legends of the road and of the iconic American personalities forever attached to it. I never set out on a full blown road trip but have traveled parts of it in the 60’s and 70's. Moreover, you expressed how R66 is etched in your soul. Those things are more than memory. I enjoyed your story immensely.
