Neo-Naturists are trending in medical technology. Futuristic Frog Fanatics are building Xenobots as we ponder. I see Retro Robo-Romantics everywhere, and not all of them care about technology as much as they have religious and political agendas.
I think science will win out eventually, and AI + Biology (not only a human mix) will thrive. Right now, it is way above my pay grade, but I'm thrilled you are imagining it and conveying it in an art form.
