I've been a man my entire life. I'm in North America. I've been in the boys clubs, locker rooms, board rooms, streets everywhere men go and verbalize their thoughts about women. Long story short, I wouldn't put anything past the majority of us. So yes, I don't doubt some do it for that reason, but not necessary because they've been taunted by a woman.
