It's been ten years, but I did this every morning before work—six a.m. I would write for exactly ten minutes, then stop mid-thought. I kept notebooks full of stuff. It was amazing how I progressed, syncing my pencil with my inner voices. I went from eking out short paragraphs to pages. It was self-therapy and about finding balance.
