It happened to me once about forty-five years ago. We worked together, too. There was political/personality friction between my partner and her co-workers, so to get at her, I was told about an affair she was having with another coworker. It was a huge emotional blowout. I found forgiveness for everyone (including myself), but I knew our relationship couldn't continue. I would feel the same no matter the circumstances.
