I think honesty equates with one’s responsibility. So, I would inject language that says being honest to myself and then others is my best policy. Being silent can be the best choice as long as I'm not betraying or avoiding what I or the law affirms is my responsibility. Thank you for sharing this thoughtful narrative and poetry, Bella.
