I know right, sometimes the catch all phrases sound fine in general but when they're applied to individuals the statements like "act like an adult no longer apply. Kinda like saying (in self help circles) it's always better to work hard at a career then have regrets later because you didn't try. Except probably, if your're a convicted criminal.
