I imagine the narcissist would be the prime offender in a scenario like this. I've dealt with some but have never been in an intimate relationship with one. Then there are the physical and mental abusers who take it to another level. Many never overcome that trauma. It takes great strength to get away from anyone pulling our strings, and it's a blessing to stop and celebrate when we have. Thank you for such a poignant prompt to do so.
