I find human nature sad; for all the happiness, I can't replace that sadness. Throughout history, conquering people see the oppressed as herds to be dispositioned and dealt with. It never stops. Socioeconomic systems sprout from human nature. Some are better than others, but they all have their sad moments. Evolution is such a drag.
It's odd, though. I can observe, connect and create new thoughts and actions looking out over a field of wildflowers, sense the beautiful harmonious colors, and wish people could be seen in the same light. That's the world I create until my survival is threatened. I suppose we have that in common with all species.
