I had an uncle that did the same with me. Back when I was 19, he got in my face like a drill instructor and challenged me to tell him what I was going to do with my life. If I played the game, he would never approve or allow me a win. But I've never been the type to let it go, and I still need to lean toward the surrender you possess. Instead, I smiled and said, mockingly, that my goal is never to be too comfortable. I walked away while he complained about my attitude and never spoke to him again.
