Great opinion piece Ben. I don't get a rush from social media likes, loves or whatever icon they want to float to me. The validation is depressingly empty compared to a live person. And as you point out, there's the concern about not being validated at all on the platforms. It's a weird society brewing. I've disengaged from all but this one.
