Events of the past ten years, in particular, continue to make me question what I believe is true. I'm constantly reminding myself not to be polarized because right and wrong, on a social scale, are subject to change radically and are thus susceptible to conditions such as fear. The world is freaking bipolar. 🫠 Being open to understanding the motivation of all sides before engaging socially seems like a foundational ingredient for peace. I guess I write to spread that narrative, though its resonance feels like a drop in a bucket the size of a universe. To attain conditions of peace and harmony on any social scale, those longings have to be relevant to at least a majority. It's such a slow process. It's like trying to win at a roulette wheel. I'm babbling.
Anyway, this is an outstanding piece of work, Sheri. You’re one of my heroes.
