Can anyone explain why is it that if someone hurts someone you care about, you’re totally fine with being friends with said person?

Fear is the initial emotion; it's often a secret, even to ourselves. We fool ourselves with fear. Nevertheless, I think rationalization takes over, and we have a choice. Either say what I'm experiencing is not part of my values and I'm taking an indefinite time out from it, or we decide there's more to gain by betrayal. Just like that, our world is based on a lie.
As a balm, I ponder a belief in the scientific community that for every choice, we make new universe spin-offs according to the options we didn't choose—more power to those beings and Que Sera Sera.

Now dissecting thoughts and emotions, pinning words, then commentary to the facets, curating and sharing them as legends of my being. Then they’re on their own.
