Fear is the bodyless beast I might allow to become its ogre. I can't count the times that thinking metaphorically kept me healthy. Not that the notion solved a problem, but a thought was enough to keep me from becoming isolated or stagnant. Instead, I discovered changes I could roll with. I made a note as an example: Once upon a time, I walked in a state of melancholy and happened upon a family of turtles. Soon, ‘Love on the Rocks’ didn't have to be a sad place.
