As a child, I cared for no future but the day. Sure, I recognized eventualities, but I didn't bother trying to bring them into focus. What I was doing at the moment was all that was real. As I grew, I subscribed to the programming and fell for a lot of it. I catered to many dreams that were not mine. Love, success, failure, etc., became achievable rather than purely enjoyable. Today, I'm living as if nothing is ancient in my universe. The light I perceive is alive and goes billions of years in every direction, yet my time is measured in lives of love in heartbeats. Your students are blessed to have you as a role model. As am I. You're rolling strong, Sheri!
